That is so, because a lot of western movies have promoted the image of beef jerky as diet of cowboys and truck drivers. However, women don’t think about beef jerky nutrition at all which is quite saddening. Here are some benefits of beef jerky:

You can also pack beef jerky when going for a picnic, hiking, fishing, boating, camping etc. since beef jerky doesn’t take much of a space and provides a lot of protein, mountain climbers pack it in their backpacks. Beef jerky is good for a number of other reasons. Beef jerky is good for teething babies; it helps them to get rid of their irritation while teething. It also gives them some nutritional benefit as compared to the store bought things. Animals like dogs can also be given beef jerky nutrition; it’s good for their coats.
